ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Rebecca and I currently live in Manchester, Vermont. Although I was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia and let me just say it was quite the drastic change in scenery. Although it's always good to experience new things. When I was younger I was much more interested in acting and doing voiceovers than I ever was in sports, that changed the day I joined my middle school soccer team. This affair in the athletic world showed me how amazing it was! My first year in high school I joined the track & field team and the rest is history. I am extremely proud of the records I have made and medals I have won, and there's still one more high school season left! Although track is a huge part of my life, there are a few more important things. Expressing myself has always been a significant aspect and I have done so since I was five years old. It all started in the backseat of my mother's van when I could hear her faintly singing along to the radio. From that moment on I sing almost anywhere I go and continue to write songs, although I will probably never let any of them see the light of day.

I also am addicted to The Office and have rewatched it several times. The dry sense of humor suits me to a tee. The relationships between characters and dynamic of how the story was shot are some of the things I really enjoy about the series. I also am quite fond of Fantastic Mr. Fox, not only for the story but I also think the animation style is incredible. The same director, Wes Anderson, also came out with Isle of Dogs. I did enjoy this movie but not nearly as much as the former, the story didn't do as much for me. Both movies also have excellent casts, including one of my favorites: Bryan Cranston. I have loved almost every movie I have seen with him in it. Especially Wakefield and Trumbo. He dives so deeply into any character he plays, he is definitely an actor to admire.

Recently I have gotten very into creative writing and actually applied to some colleges with that as my selected major. Although, there are a lot of things I am interested in pursuing so maybe cinematography could make its way into my life, which is part of why I signed up for this class. I have always been a girl who loves a good television series or movie, and sometimes people tell me my expectations are too high, but why aim low? One of my favorite movies is Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. The storyline is incredible and it has some crazy talented actors in it

I have made a few "films" in the past although they were only for school reasons and it's not like they're going to be award winners. They're quite embarrassing, so why not link them on here right? The first is from eighth grade and it is for a music video class we were in. The song is "Misery" by Maroon 5. Why we had decided to choreograph a short dance break and make the humility even worse, I still do not know.

Another video I have made is from my freshman year wellness class when we were assigned a drug and had to make a public service announcement based on our assigned substance. I was assigned ecstasy and even worse, this next one has bloopers attached at the end... But turns out I can't attach that video because it's too big so I guess it's for the best.

The final one is actually from last year, my Spanish 1 class. We were told specific conversational pieces we need to include, and so we (Nicole and I) wrote a script, a story, and filmed a masterpiece... It's all in Spanish with no translation. This one is too big as well...

I am terribly sorry that only my horrible music video was able to be attached. The others will be honored accordingly, and if curiosity gets the best of you, I have them on my computer and I can play them at any time. Although, I am kind of happy they won't be public.
